The Jacka Foundation has partnered with the Australian Research Centre for Complementary and Integrative Medicine (ARCCIM) to establish a mentoring scheme for promising naturopathy researchers. The scheme was launched in October 2015 when several members of the JFNT Board attended UTS. The program will provide mentoring for each researcher for one year with the aim of producing at least one publication. For further information about this exciting development see the ARCCIM media release at:
ARCCIM is headed by Professor Jon Adams and is located within the School of Health at the University of Technology Sydney. It is leading an extensive program of empirical research focused upon a wide range of substantive issues around CAM use and practice in Australia and internationally. All the areas of investigation have received external funding including major grants from NHMRC, ARC, PHCRED and industry partners.
